Clovis Church Update

Praise the Lord! I know it has been a little while since my last post. I just got back Tuesday night from visiting my family in Texas for Christmas. We had a wonderful time and I am so thankful for the time we spent together.

In my last post I mentioned I would be sharing everything that the Lord is doing in Clovis at our local church. So that is exactly what this post will be about, the doors that God has opened 😀

For those who don’t know, my church Revival Life Church (Clovis Tabernacle) has been at it’s location on Fifth Street for over 30 years. My pastor, Pastor Troy Sosa, has been the pastor there for over 15 years. The Lord gave us that building many years ago and it has been a blessing but our church has outgrown it completely. For a while now my pastor has shared his vision with the church of finding a new building, as we are unable to expand our current property. We have all prayed for God to open the door for a new building and God has answered our prayers.

There is a large church property currently owned by a Methodist church in Clovis a few minutes away from our Fifth street location. The church is on a beautiful lot with a couple of acres of land. It has a large sanctuary, multiple Sunday school classrooms, a nursery, a fellowship hall, and tons of room for growth 😀

Here is the Pollasky Church building

We rented the building for our youth conference, Jovenes En Victoria, in September and it was a blessing for our services and the fellowship afterwards.

The church is still being used by the Methodist church but God has truly given us favor and beginning on November 13th of this year, we began having services in that building. We are currently renting the building for our midweek and Sunday evening services and we are praying that eventually we could buy the property from the Methodist church.

We have already had many wonderful services in this building. We had a baby dedication last month, a Thanksgiving service, Holiday service, and multiple family & friends services. We have also had many new visitors and I am looking forward to seeing what the Lord is going to do.

Thank you so much for reading! I ask that you would join us in prayer, I know the Lord is moving and we are so thankful for what He is doing. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and have a Happy New Year. God bless 🙂
