Hi everyone! I know it has been a few weeks since my last post, but I am back with another one 🙂 I had a wonderful time in Texas visiting my family. My mom was so surprised that I went to visit for Mother’s Day, and we had an amazing time while I was there ❤
This last week I felt God speaking to me multiple times about one subject…His love for us. Now I realize the quote, “You are loved,” may have become cliché in today’s society, but nevertheless, it is the truth. Sometimes we forget just how loved we are.
The enemy can lie to us and tell us that we are all alone, that nobody loves us. We ourselves can be our worst enemy sometimes and put ourselves down when we fall. I have experienced it myself, where I messed up and I felt condemnation. I felt like God would not take me back, that He wouldn’t love me the same. But all of these thoughts are lies. The Bible says in Romans 8:1,
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."
There is a quote I read years ago, and I was reminded of it this week,
Jesus died for you knowing that you may never love Him back. That is true love.
Unknown
Jesus died for every soul, knowing that some would never love Him back. There is truly no greater love. He died knowing we would sin again, but He paid the price for those sins. He died knowing there would be those who would reject Him, but He also saw us who would choose to follow Him. He died knowing there would be seasons of loneliness, but He gave us the example of Calvary to show us just how much He loves us.
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." -Romans 5:8.
And perhaps my favorite passage about God’s love is found in Romans 8: 35-39,
"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
So my friend, if you have fallen and feel like you have failed God, get back up and remember His love for you. Maybe you have stopped seeking Him like you know you should. Today is the day of salvation, it is not too late to seek Him again. Or maybe you are overwhelmed with the cares of this life, just remember that God is not asking you to carry your burdens alone. The Bible says in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast your care on the Lord because He cares for you. As we read in Romans, there is NOTHING that can separate us from God’s love.

I took the picture above of a sign in Clovis. It is just a few blocks away from my church and I have passed by it for years. But yesterday I went by and took a picture of the sign. It is a beautiful reminder that you are so loved.
This post was not anything profound or revelatory, but I just wanted to remind you of what God reminded me…how much He loves you and I. We are not running this race alone. I pray that this would inspire us to show the love of God to others. I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday! God bless you! 😀

Amen sister, thank you for sharing God’s love with us. God is Love and nothing could change that. He doesn’t give love only to those who do good deeds nor is He a respecter of person “while we were yet sinners Christ died for us” He took our place of death, Love is the only thing that does that. Humanity gives back an amount of love for receiving the trust, the loyalty, the friendship, kindness, or materialistic things from others But God gives Love for nothing in return.
