Easter Sunday 2022

Praise the Lord! I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! 🙂 God is so good and I am thankful to have had a great service yesterday with my church family.

This year, we had our Easter service at one of the parks here in Clovis. It was so neat to have church outdoors and to be a witness to those in our city. After song service, a few of us sang the song called, “I Speak Jesus,” by Charity Gayle. This has become one of my favorite songs! The lyrics are powerful. If you have never heard the song, I would encourage you to listen to it, it’s a beautiful song.

God moved mightily yesterday and we had many visitors come to the service. There were even people who heard the service from across the park who came over for prayer and healings. I believe this is just the beginning of what God wants to do here in Clovis.

After service, some of the Sunday school kids performed an Easter skit. They worked all week long and did a great job.

After the skit, many of us played volleyball and badminton together. We had lunch and fellowshipped with one another. It truly was a great day with my church family.

Aside from the great fellowship, I know that many souls were witnessed to yesterday and I am excited to see what is yet to come. I am thankful for this Truth, and for all that God has done. To think that Jesus died on Calvary for you and for me, is amazing. What LOVE. I like how Paul says it…

"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:5-11

I hope everyone had a Happy Easter! Thank you to Bro. & Sis. Hernandez for providing most of the photos in this post!
