Every year in March, Truth Tabernacle and the Branch works have Missions Conference in Fresno, CA. We were unable to have our Missions Conference in 2021 due to Covid, but thankfully we had it this year.

Brother Jonathan Alvear preached all three nights and it was an amazing conference! Truth Tabernacle put the preachings on their website, and I included them in this post if you would like to listen or relisten to them 🙂
The first night Elder Alvear gave his testimony and if you have never heard his testimony in depth, I would highly recommend listening to that preaching because it is beautiful. It is amazing to see how God orchestrates our lives and to see the “fine threads” that are included in each of our testimonies.

Every year, each Branch work (daughter work) prepares a Missions board for their church. It’s so neat to see how creative every board is and to see what God is doing throughout the Church all over the world. From here in Fresno county to Mexico, Honduras, Africa, and many other places, God is still moving and doing mighty things in these last days!

This year’s Missions Conference was extra special for me because I was asked to help serve during the ministers’ dinner after each service. Some of you may have read my first post of the year and may remember how my word for 2022 was “servant.” Well this was one of the many times in 2022 so far that I have been given the opportunity to serve those around me. It was truly humbling and getting to serve with my best friends was even better.

I was amazed at how beautiful the decorations turned out every night for the ministers’ dinner. The food was so good too. And it was also neat to see how many people from Truth Tabernacle and the branch works came together to make the conference and evening dinners possible.

On Friday night, Pastor Miraflor of Truth Tabernacle, honored all of the Branch work pastors and their wives. We are truly blessed to have our pastors.

I am thankful for Missions Conference, it is one of my favorite conferences every year. This year’s conference was full of great preaching and prophesies, great songs, and great fellowship. Missions Conference is a great reminder that this life we live is not about us, but we are truly here for a greater purpose. We are blessed to have this Truth, to know God, to have a One God revelation and to be baptized in Jesus name filled with the Holy Ghost. But we cannot stop there, we must reach the lost. We have to have the heartbeat of God and a burden for souls. The Bible says in 2 Peter 3:9,
"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
“Not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” Missions Conference is also a great reminder that we cannot afford to be selfish during these last days. So often, and I am speaking to myself as well, we get caught up in comfortability, in how we feel. We take care of ourselves, our families, and our homes. This is important of course, but it is so easy to stay in our comfort zones that we oftentimes forget that there is a dying world out there full of souls who do not know this Truth. We need to stand in the gap and be willing to be labourers together for the Kingdom of God.
I left Missions Conference with a renewed passion for the lost. I was challenged in my spirit to take my eyes off myself and to pray for others. I do not want to simply see revival happening around me, but I want to be a part of it. I want to see souls saved. And I am so thankful to be a part of God’s church because I know we are all labourers together.
And we are living in the mission field. God has placed each of us in a specific place, during this specific time, for a specific purpose. You are not where you are out of coincidence, but God has planted you where you are for a reason. He wants to use you to reach the lost. The job you have, the neighborhood you live in, the very family you were born into was all a part of God’s plan. You are not insignificant, but you play a crucial role in the Kingdom of God.
I am so excited to see what the Lord is doing during these last days, and I just want to encourage everyone to be vessels for the King. God bless you, in Jesus name! 🙂
Such a great blog I can tell a lot of work and effort was put into this! I went to missions and the spirit moved throughout the services was truly an honor to be there!
