This past weekend, Truth Tabernacle in Fresno hosted Empowered Youth Conference. It was a great youth conference full of anointed preaching and singing. I did not originally plan to make a post about the conference, but I wanted to share the preachings with everyone. I am honestly considering creating a blog page of just preachings because I have shared so many throughout my posts and they would all be more accessible on a separate blog page.
Friday, August 19th was my 24th birthday, and what better place to spend it than in the house of God. Bro. Seth Shoemake preached Friday evening on, “The Shepherd and the Lost Sheep.” It was a beautiful message about the lost sheep, the lost coin within the house, and the prodigal son. I know God spoke to every one of us and it was beautiful to see prodigal sons and daughters praying in the altar. God’s mercy and love for us is amazing and I am so grateful for them both.
After the service on Friday evening, there was a lock-in at Truth Tabernacle. They had food, games, and fellowship. My friends and I had a great time and got to see some friends we had not seen in a while.

On Saturday morning, Bro. Gavin Barrier preached on, “My Name is Not Jether.” Bro. Barrier preached a timely message on fear. The spirit of fear has become so prevalent in these last days but I am grateful for the preaching that we heard. God has truly equipped us with everything we need to defeat the enemy and we should not let the spirit of fear hinder us from fulfilling our purpose and from reaching the lost.
At the end of the altar call on Saturday morning, Bro. Miraflor said he prayed that the service would not end after dismissal but that the service and it’s impact would go on in our lives as we lived “Empowered.” I believe this conference’s impact will go beyond the course of this last weekend. I am looking forward to seeing what the Lord is going to do! Thank you so much for reading! God bless you 😀
