I got up early one morning
And rushed right into the day.
I had so much to accomplish
That I didn’t take time to pray.
Problems just tumbled about me
And heavier became each task.
“Why doesn’t God help me,” I wondered;
He answered, “You didn’t ask.”
I wanted to see joy and beauty,
But the day toiled on, gray and bleak.
I wondered why God didn’t show me;
He said, “But you didn’t seek.”
I tried to come into God’s presence.
I used all my keys at the lock.
God gently and lovingly chided,
“My child, you didn’t knock.”
I woke up early this morning
And paused before entering the day.
I had so much to accomplish
That I had to take time to pray.
The Difference by Alan Grant
I stumbled upon this poem a while ago and I thought it was a beautiful reminder. In life we can get so busy. We have family commitments, church responsibilities, work, school, etc. But even in the midst of our busyness and work, our spirit is longing for time in prayer with our Maker. Yesterday morning in church, we were reminded of how important our desire for the Lord is. And even on our busiest days, taking time in prayer is the best decision we can make. This was just a short thought, but I hope this poem blesses you as much as it did me. I hope everyone has a wonderful day, and God bless! 🙂
hi daphnee, this poem touched my heart. such a great reminder to seek God even during our busiest of days makes all the difference. hope you are doing well 💛

Good morning Daphnee, 11.12 am Kerry Ireland. It seems strange but I was listening to this prayer come up on a joyous talk given on Eucharistic Adoration at God’s cottage, and looking for the entire poem that’s how i came to your page.
Thank you for that beautiful image of the mother praying and covered in the armour of Christ and thank you for your witness.
I wish I had started my days praying for all our needs and my children and thanking God for all our blessings, they are now grown up and i have made many mistakes but please God we will all come to true faith trust and joy in Jesus our Saviour.
I will remember you at mass and tomorrow when I go to meet Jesus in Eucharistic Adoration and I pray that all is going well for you and your loved ones. God bless you n thank God for His faithful love. He loves us so much and is with us in all times good and bad.

That is a beautiful poem and a great reminder for to take time to Pray even at our busiest times!! I have to admit I am guilty!! Yes this very well goes with what Bro. Sorah preached on Sunday morning! If our desire is where it should be and needs to be then we will make time for Prayer!!! It is just all the more reason we need to make sure we keep ourselves rooted and grounded in Jesus even when time seems crunched and to much is going on! That is the most needed time to Pray because anything can happen!!
Thank You again mija for sharing your thoughts with us! This such a blessing to read when you post things and also to see the beauty of what God is doing in you and how He is using you!! It is all good reminders and encouragement!!
Thank You for allowing God to use You!! Love and Appreciate You!!🙌🙌

This is wonderful, I perceive that God hands is on you for a prophetic assignment. This prophetic assignment will have a great impact in the lives of youths of your kind. I see the lord giving you a divine skill that has to do with writing the things from the throne of God as revealed by the spirit of God to you. God said I should tell you that your dreams will receive his lightings, and you will see him appear to you in your dreams speaking to you about the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of this world.
Shalom………
